Description
The Case Manager serves as a key member of the program team, providing comprehensive case management and support to single mothers participating in the Shiloh Place program. This role assists clients in achieving financial self-sufficiency and personal wholeness by developing individualized plans in collaboration with the Program Director, monitoring progress, and ensuring accountability to program expectations.
This role requires a compassionate, highly organized professional who demonstrates sound judgment, strong relational skills, and a heart for ministry. The Case Manager must be able to balance empathy with accountability while maintaining a Christ-centered approach to client care. This role also coordinates community resources, ensures accurate documentation for compliance and reporting, and works closely with program staff to promote client success in alignment with the mission and founding principles of Shiloh Place.
Responsibilities:
The Case Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive case management and support to single mothers participating in the Shiloh Place program and includes the following:
- Build positive, trusting relationships with clients while maintaining accountability to program expectations.
- Support clients in setting and achieving goals for financial independence and personal wholeness.
- Maintain detailed documentation to ensure accountability and compliance.
- Participate in agency coalitions, community meetings, and staff training opportunities, maintaining strong collaborative relationships.
- Communicate and coordinate priorities, progress, workload, and challenges with the Program Director on a regular basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer or Program Director.
Requirement
Education and/or Experience
- Demonstrated experience in faith-based ministry, human services, or related fields; a degree in social work or related field preferred but not required.
- 3–5 years of case management experience, preferably with single mothers or those facing homelessness or abuse.
Qualifications:
- A mature Christian, actively attending a local congregation
- Experience with client management systems.
- Willingness to learn new programs and applications.
- Ability to follow instructions, think conceptually, set priorities, and interface effectively with staff.
- Ability to coordinate work requirements and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work conscientiously without supervision.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and interact well with all constituencies.
- Ability to work independently while being flexible to assist the team as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

We minister to single moms and their children who are homeless or at risk for homelessness, providing housing, childcare, and tuition assistance for up to two years.
