Job Summary
This position will configure and maintain online content, provide front-end support to the Web Development team, and participate in testing efforts. The Senior Web Strategist will collaborate with stakeholders and internal clients to recommend/modify content on corporate websites via the enterprise CMS. This role will be responsible for delivering customer success by facilitating the coordination of projects related to SEO, digital marketing strategies, lead generation, form building and management, website enhancements, and more. In addition, this position will analyze and report on web and form traffic, trends, and best practices.
What You'll Do
Web Content Management:
Collaborate with business units in recommending/modifying content on the public and private websites (landing pages, vanity URLs, QR codes, microsites, forms, etc.)
Become proficient in the CMS features (Sitecore)
Create and manage the execution of measurable, brand-building, web campaigns aligned with key objectives and priorities.
Analytics:
Perform Web-related tracking and analytics.
Run Google Analytics, CMS and Forms reports for stakeholders and internal clients.
Analyze data to recommend improvements for web engagement, lead generation, SEO/SEM, marketing campaigns and digital product improvement.
SEO/Paid Ads:
Provide support for paid search and paid social campaigns (keyword research, strategy, stats, troubleshooting, etc).
Research, recommend and implement SEO/SEM best practices.
Strategy:
As needed, perform web competitor analysis, information architecture strategy, personalization implementation, form logic and more.
Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and website best practices.
Implement and maintain best UX practices across GuideStone’s digital presence.
Testing:
Perform website and development testing as needed.
Consistently test web pages for various mobile devices and browsers.
Optimize site content and media for the best overall user experience.
General:
Must understand the full digital marketing mix and be able to communicate technical aspects of a campaign easily.
Other duties may be assigned.
What You'll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Digital Marketing or related degree.
At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field.
Strong and proven track record/performance in managing complex projects.
Proficient in web content management systems (CMS), preferred Sitecore.
Proficient knowledge of HMTL and CSS.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
Exposure to Google Ads.
Ability to communicate complex technical topics to business personnel.
Knowledge of current web tools and the ability to learn technical information quickly.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with interruptions and time constraints.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and departments.
Highly self-motivated.
Proficient skills in MS Office and appropriate GuideStone system applications.
Must have complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters.
