First
As you think about the most important things to pray for, this scripture points to a top priority. Ask to know Christ and to know the Father as He did. There is no better request to put before God every day of your employment search. This is the foundation for everything! When you draw near to God, just to get to know Him personally, He will draw near to you. When He comes near, His love is so wonderful it will carry you through anything the day might hold in store. You’re going to spend eternity with Jesus. You might as well get to know Him now.
